Stella Mazza recently received a royal seal of approval of the highest order. Mazza was so taken with the bridal bouquet carried by Kate Middleton at her April 2011 wedding to Prince William that she decided to make a replica as a tribute to the royal couple. Instead of putting it in a display case — and after navigating royal protocol and red tape in Ottawa and then London — Mazza, who owns KaTonGiovi Designs on Corydon Avenue, sent the wedding gift across the pond to the blueblooded newlyweds.
Stella Mazza was awarded the accolade of being 3rd place of the 2008 Swarovski “ Create Your Style” Award for design excellence. It was an event highly regarded within the design community, and the prestigious award was presented at a ceremonial evening at the Swarovski Creative Centre in Manhattan New York on October 29th.
The award is voted on by industry professionals, and selections included over 300 design entries. Her creation was titled “I DO” and consisted of over 6000 swarovski crystals, and 28 laborious hours, retailing the bouquet at $5800.00

The YMCA-YWCA Women of Distinction Awards Program is an inspirational and exciting celebration of talent, achievement, imagination and innovation, honoring Manitoba women who have made a unique and exemplary contribution to the development of others in our community.
The annual presentation of these awards reflects the Y’s commitment to increase public recognition of these women who have earned our admiration and respect.

Her creation was titled “Turquoise Mystique” and consisted of over 3600 Swarovski crystals and 21 laborious hours, retailing the evening purse at $1500.00

Winnipeg singer-songwriter Sierra Noble has racked up enough fan votes to be named the opening act for the upcoming Bon Jovi concert July 17, 2010 at Canad Inns Stadium. On stage she wears a magnificant hand crocheted copper wiring neck piece.
