The Sterling Silver “Beach Wave” Necklace
from the beaches of Lake Winnipeg.
After many years of riding the waves of Lake Winnipeg and then continuously being washed up along shore, tiny shards of glass from discarded bottles become perfect little treasures to be embellished and transformed into jewelry. The lake ages the glass in such a way that cannot be replicated my human or machine and have become highly coveted by collectors and craft artists.
Each specimen of beach glass is filed, fired, and complimented with Sterling Silver squiggle filigree representing the wave of our lakes.
A 16” – 1mm, e-coated (anti tarnish) Sterling Silver choker is added, completed with a funky sandal charm at back.
